Yes. AOS adheres to Joint Commission’s standards, HIPAA regulations and state licensure requirements.

My hospital focuses on a specialized area of medicine. Can you provide pharmacists who can support our area of clinical expertise?

AOS has state licensed pharmacists representing several disciplines. A team of pharmacists licensed in your state with the right expertise to match your hospital’s area of clinical specialty will be assigned to your facility.

What are your hours of service?

AOS can provide service 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Will AOS be able to work with our pharmacy operating software?

Yes, AOS can work on any pharmacy information management system.

How long does the implementation process take?

In most cases, it takes 2-3 months to reach the Go-Live date but this is dependent on hospital size, services required and pharmacy software.

What is your average turnaround time?

Average turnaround time is 20 minutes however, we guarantee 30 minutes.

What is AOS accuracy rate in relation to medication order entry and order verification?

At AOS, we undertake a Performance Improvement Program to continually improve our accuracy rating. Our goal is to have an accuracy rating which at the minimum we will be equal to or greater than the expectations you hold for your own facility.

We have facility-specific policies and procedures which affect medication management at our hospital. Will this be a problem for AOS?

At AOS, we strive to provide pharmaceutical services seamless with your own facility’s processes and procedure. As part of the implementation process, our team of pharmacist will be trained on your facility’s policies and procedures.

What are your service fees and start-up costs?

AOS service fees are based on line items per night and/or hours of service requested. Customized pricing options can also be provided depending on your facility’s unique needs.
