Louisa Asante, Pharmacy Operations:
Dr. Louisa Asante has over 15 years in pharmacy and has worked in several clinical, retail and industrial pharmacy settings in England and the US. Dr. Asante graduated with honors from London School of pharmacy, a member college of the prestigious University of London. She started her career working in clinical research for one of the largest pharmaceutical companies. Since then Dr. Asante has spent many years in the clinical setting, first as a staff pharmacist and then as a clinical board-certified pharmacist. Over the last few years, Dr. Asante has held several management roles within the acute and sub-acute hospital setting. Dr. Asante truly enjoys her work as a clinician and is passionate about pharmacy being customer-centric with the focus on not only providing excellent cost effective clinical service but a customer driven support role for the nursing staff involved in direct patient care. Dr. Asante is currently working on completing her MBA in Finance at University of Houston and has had the opportunity to study abroad not only in England but also in China. She is married with 3 boys and enjoys playing tennis and reading a John Grisham novel in her spare time.
Byron Burson, Clinical Services:
Dr. Burson has several decades of experience in the clinical, rehab and home infusion setting. Dr. Burson received his pharmacy degree from University Of Houston. He is familiar with many pharmacy information systems and has a keen interest in pharmacy workflow improvement. He has been part of several initiatives to improve efficiency and maximize meager pharmacy resources. Dr. Burson is well versed in several clinical specialties particularly Infectious Diseases and Critical Care. He has also worked as the lead pharmacist for on-call teams at several long term acute hospitals. Dr. Burson is married with 2 children and enjoys gardening in his spare time.
Bernard Asante, IT Services:
Bernard Asante has held several senior roles in the consumer producing industries, chemical, pharmaceutical/medical diagnostics and devices industries as well as the oil and gas. He is passionate about attaining cohesive and effective organization systems through process improvement, quality emphasis, training, communication and timely feedback. Bernard’s key areas of interest include, supply chain operations, business analysis, continuous improvement, exploring cost savings opportunities and collaboration for information technology innovations. Bernard has also served on several business simplification processes in various organizations. Bernard holds a Masters of Pharmaceutical-Industrial Engineering from New Jersey Institute of Technology and MBA graduate of University of Houston. Mr. Asante likes to play tennis and soccer and enjoys spending time with his family.
